It’s been a while since I’ve seen a bar get such a strong media push upon opening. Multiple articles, viral videos popping up on my Instagram feed and tweets about how this place rules. I’m usually a little skeptical of new places that are meant to capture an old vibe - there are plenty of older bars in DC that no doubt inspired this place that never get any love.

What’s the verdict, is this place as good as my algorithm is suggesting? Worth a visit now or wait until the hype dies down?
